This was not a book related to any of the challenges I am doing. Celaena Sardothien is an assassin, trained from a young age from the best to be the best. She doesn’t like to reveal much about her early life to people but she has no shame for the amount she loves to read, she is witty & rude, what not to love?
Overall, I loved the story. I thought it was pretty unique and not a modified retelling of another story I have hard before. I mean, I seriously read the book from start to finish in a single setting last night.
Favorite Part: Any of the witty banter between Celaena and basically anyone she is speaking to.
Least Favorite Part: For all Celaena knows about magic, which isn’t a lot but more than most, I really can’t believe she didn’t figure out who it was right off the bat. I mean, she even says herself the obvious signs of who it was and still seemed to think it was actually a friend instead, and with pretty shoddy reasoning as to why it would be her too.
